Privacy policy

This policy explains how ZONIQ collects, uses, discloses and protects personal data when you visit zoniq.sg or contact us through the website.

The short version

We use the information you provide to respond and deliver the service you request. Advertising measurement through Google Ads and LinkedIn loads only after you accept the cookie notice. If you decline, none of it loads. We do not sell your personal data.

1. Scope and who we are

ZONIQ ("we", "us" or "our") is responsible for the personal data described in this policy. This policy applies to zoniq.sg and the enquiries, guided-hour bookings and review requests made through it.

A separate contract, statement of work or data-processing term may apply when we handle information as part of a client project. That project documentation takes priority if it conflicts with this website policy.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use the site, we may collect:

  • Booking details, which you enter in the guided-hour form: your name, company, work email address, the date and time you prefer, and optionally a phone number and any notes you want to add. The form on the older /transform/classic page also asks for your role, company size and industry. Only the email address and the slot are required. We use these details to arrange and hold the guided hour and to follow up with you about it.
  • Communications, including messages and follow-up correspondence with us.
  • Site and device information, such as requested pages, timestamps, browser or device details, IP address and similar technical data processed by our hosting and security providers to deliver and protect the site.
  • Consent and measurement data. We always store the choice you make in the cookie notice. Then, only if you accepted, the Google Ads tag and the LinkedIn Insight Tag record which pages you saw and whether a guided-hour booking followed. We use this to measure which pages and which advertisements lead to bookings, and to build advertising audiences on LinkedIn. We do not run Google Analytics.

Please do not submit passwords, payment-card details, national identification numbers, health information or sensitive production data through our website forms.

3. How we use information

We may use personal data to:

  • respond to your enquiry and arrange the conversation you request;
  • understand your operational context and prepare a relevant consultation, proposal or service;
  • manage our business relationship and related communications;
  • operate, secure, troubleshoot and improve the website;
  • measure site journeys and advertising conversions when you have allowed optional analytics; and
  • maintain appropriate business records, enforce our agreements, and meet legal or regulatory requirements.

We collect, use and disclose personal data for purposes that are reasonably connected with your request, with your consent, or as otherwise permitted or required by applicable law.

4. When we share information

We disclose personal data only where reasonably needed for the purposes above. Recipients may include:

  • ZONIQ personnel and professional advisers who need it for their work;
  • Vercel, which hosts the website and processes the request data needed to serve and protect it;
  • other service providers that support security, email and communications;
  • HubSpot, which may receive enquiry and booking information for contact, notification and meeting management;
  • Google, which receives page and conversion information from the Google Ads tag, but only after you accept the cookie notice;
  • LinkedIn, which receives the same kind of information through its Insight Tag, again only after you accept the cookie notice; and
  • regulators, courts, law-enforcement bodies or other parties where disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety and security.

Our providers may process personal data only for the services they provide to us, subject to their terms and applicable law. We do not sell personal data.

5. Cookies and measurement

The first time you visit, the site shows a cookie notice with two options. Until you pick one, no analytics or advertising tag loads. This is true on every part of the site, including the campaign landing pages that our advertisements link to.

If you accept, the site loads two tags: the Google Ads tag and the LinkedIn Insight Tag. Both set their own cookies. Each may receive the page address, your IP address, browser or device information, cookies or similar online identifiers, and information about what you did on the page, including whether you booked a guided hour. We use this to see which pages and which advertisements lead to bookings, and to build advertising audiences on LinkedIn. If you decline, neither tag loads, on that visit or on any later one.

We store your choice in your browser under the name zoniq.analytics-consent. That single record covers the whole site, so you are asked once and not again on other pages. We do not send the conversion events the contents of any form field. We do not track you before you accept, and we do not sell personal data.

To change a choice you have already made, use Cookie Settings in the footer of any page on zoniq.sg. The campaign landing pages do not carry that control yet, but because the choice is shared across the site, changing it through the footer changes it for those pages too. Clearing your browser storage for this site also clears the choice, and the notice will ask you again on your next visit. Declining costs you nothing: every part of the site works the same either way.

6. Overseas transfers

ZONIQ and some of our service providers operate across borders. As a result, personal data may be processed outside Singapore. Where the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA) applies, we take appropriate steps to ensure overseas recipients provide a standard of protection comparable to the PDPA, unless an exception applies.

7. Retention and security

We retain personal data only while it is reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, our legitimate business and record-keeping needs, or applicable legal requirements. Retention periods vary according to the nature of the information and our relationship with you. We delete or anonymise information when it is no longer required.

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect personal data from unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, loss or disposal. No internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.

8. Your choices and requests

Subject to the PDPA and any applicable exceptions, you may ask to access personal data we hold about you, request correction of an error or omission, or withdraw consent for future collection, use or disclosure. We may need to verify your identity and clarify the scope of a request before responding.

Withdrawing consent does not affect earlier processing and may mean that we cannot continue a service that depends on the information.

To turn website analytics on or off, use Cookie Settings in the footer of any page on zoniq.sg, as described in section 5. To ask for access to or correction of the details you sent us, or to withdraw consent for anything else, email our data protection officer at info@zoniq.sg. We will respond within the time the PDPA allows.

9. Other websites and children

Our site may link to websites operated by other organisations. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this one.

The website is intended for business users and is not directed to children. If you believe a child has provided personal data through the site, please contact us.

10. Contact us

ZONIQ's data protection officer, Esther Lim, can be reached at info@zoniq.sg. Write to the officer with privacy questions, complaints, access or correction requests, or to withdraw consent. You can also write to us at 1 Coleman Street, #04-02, Downtown Core, Singapore 179803.

We may update this policy to reflect changes to our practices, services or legal obligations. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
